The Spotted Cow, Malton

 Just 25 minutes on the train from York is Malton, a classic Yorkshire market town and self titled Yorkshire’s Food Capital.

We choose the cosiest, busiest (but not packed) room. With the fire roaring and rugby on the telly.


As the rules state, one must only drink Guinness in front of a six nations match, regardless of one's liking of stout (or dark beers).

Perhaps I should follow the rules, as the Golden Best was not at it's best.
